 Thermal Glider Plans
« Thread Started on Feb 23, 2009, 1:33pm »

A few members mentioned they had plans for thermal gliders.

can those members contact me in regards to these.. i would be after something around 2.5 - 3m that is pure thermal, winch, bungee or hand launch that floats up on a fart.

thanks in advance.

Sounds like you're looking for built-up balsa plans, right?

Any idea of a period 80's, 90's?? Most of my plans are electronic, you need access to a A0 plotter.

A couple of 80's designs.

Sagitta

Aquila

Albatross

Brolga

There are heaps, best way is to find something you like and then start asking to see if any one has plans.

Cheers

i like the look of the bubble dancer. it's going to be a mission to build though, especially seeing that i have never built scratch before... i may even order the wing ribs online to make life easier...

from those links you gave i like the look of the Sagitta the best.. but i want a thermal glider min 2.5m - 3m max.
