Pij sorry bout the big jump in progress lol. I will post a few more pics tomorrow with more details when I have the time to find them. As for the slots I just used a bit of shoe glue and smeared it along the slot to give back the lost strength, no filler needed and doesn’t need to be smooth as the laminate “bridges” small bumps when shrunk. Glad you don’t think the beelix is ugly but I do lol……in it’s defence it definitely looks purposeful ;)haha. The wild wing has had a few skins now but not due to wear. First one was profilm but got torn to shreds the first day out (SC brutality plus my enthusiasm outdoing my skill level to blame) and didn’t hold to the foam at all. The laminate job was still fine and has put up with insane amounts of abuse but was delaminating off the bare foam and bi tape (iron sorted it out again though).also it looks silver in the pics but is actually a very dark grey and orientation was a problem when flying like a loon So I stripped it back and gave it a good coat of thinned shoe goo and put on a new skin hoping to get better adhesion. i also wanted to experiment to see if I could get a chrome like effect with this one but failed unfortunately (I’ll figure out a way though).
