Yeah, you can have it alright. Honestly I can't see myself using it now, I'd rather see it tearing around on your Reaper. It's pretty marked - the tip is split - could easily sand that bit off - and the bottom has chunks taken out - it hit the tarmac hard and flat and slid for a bit - those marks could be filled and sanded or left as is if you don't mind a few scars. You could probably extract the broken golf shaft - it wouldn't be easy but probably doable, depends on what tools you have. Dad carved me a nose out of hard wood for my soon-to-be-built 2M plank from drawings I sent. It's very hard, aged timber, not sure what it is exactly. For this one I think I'll just oil it - less work, will make it much easier to fix and won't show scars as much. It's shorter, fatter and heavy! Almost 400g... Totally indestructable ;D. Old Reaper nose (white) compared to 2M plank nose:

I finished the Reaper rebuild yesterday, empty weight is now 1160g and 1460 fully ballasted. Maidened it at Bald Knob - there wasn't much lift so I only kept it in the air for 20mins or so including a bit of DS. Basically it flew just the same as before - fast, smooth and straight - except it felt like the previous build with half ballast. Should be good fully ballasted in a strong breeze ;D. I'm very happy with the finish, really smooth, best I've done on a foamy I reckon. The nose came up really nicely too. But I'm not so keen on the yellow - it's not a good shade - slightly translucent with a touch of green. It clashed with the red I had which is why I put the white there. Upside is it really showed up well against the sky and grass at Bald Knob yesterday. This one's for atmosteve . It shows the 48" Skua on top of the 60" Reaper, gives a better picture of the Skua's span compared to that shot I posted a week or so back, the one where the Skua looked like a 60". Sean.

Onya Sean, I'm a believer now. That does look like a very nice finishing job! And the nose job looks like it belongs there. Shame that the yellow mixes and blends too much with other colors. Funny color yellow.

Yeah, not to worry. I think it shows up better DSing than the red/white/black.
