Hi guys, this is a bit late notice, but if you want to have a go at a proper FAI speed course. It will be setup at the MRSSA field at the Normanby Winery, end of Dunns Avenue Harrisville from 0930 Sunday 18thOct.
Any winchable sailplane is welcome to have a go, or even an electric one. You don't have to be an expert pilot with a carbon fibre bullet. Test your skills, try something a little different.
Hopefully see you there! Brian

It would be good to see you there Andrew. We are thinking about 12 or more pilots will have a go.
BTW anyone reading this is very welcome to come along.

Going to take out my Tragi and the sunracer. I have the new ice 50amp speedy and new 4700kv motor as the old motor went up in smoke today on 60amps. Im after around 285klm/h level flight. Cant wait to see 3m ships go around a speed course.

Hi Skyzking,
If you have a plane capable of being launched (winch, bungee, electric etc) and gliding for 4 legs of a 150m course, get it ready and come fly on Sunday!
Whatever you fly you'll have fun setting a time and seeing yourself better it with practice. As Sean will attest, it's great fun at whatever level you're participating.
Plus there's lots of good blokes to help and to enjoy the day with.
I hope to see you there!
Ken.

Hi Ken I unfortunately don't have anything to be winch launched.
I may still come if i could make it off work, but its looking highly unlikely at this stage.
Cheers, Abdullah.
