The purpose of this thread is to encourage Mikey100 to post a good description of how he built his little plane called the Noodle. It gets the name from the pool noodle used as the foam to shape the fuselage! It has coreflute wings with a couple of rod spars to give it shape. I'm really impressed with that thing. It is something anybody can knock up in a few hours for very little cost. I thought it flew OK at SC, but when I saw it flying at Maleny I was convinced. There are lots of home brew designs, but Sometimes someone flukes a gem, and I think Mike's hit on a ripper with the Noodle.
So come on Mike, we want pics, measurements, descriptions of the build etc.
If other guys build one and they're as good, we should post it on RCG for worldwide adoption. I reckon it's better than the Swinger I recently built.

If you want, just write your text and insert your images in a word document and email it to me. I'll convert it into a PDF and also place it on a page on the windsock.net.au website. I'm happy to help you out gp_cosgrove@hotmail.com Gerard

I'm interested in seeing the pics and build log too, as I've got a spare wing.
