This is my latest "acquisition". I'd like to say "investment" but that would really be pushing the spin a bit far ... ! It's a Caracho 3000 wing like new with a Fazer X-tail fuselage. The fuse has been snapped but well repaired, however it also came with a brand spanking new red Fazer double carbon fuse still in the packing. I already have a Fazer F3B so I'm well stocked with Fazer fuses! I got it from Sven Z in NZ. He loved the Caracho's performance but doesn't like V-tails, so he mated the 2-bolt wing to the 3-bolt fuse. He reckons it's fast, tracks beautifully and is the "ducks nuts" for 3m fun DSing, which is what he aimed to do with it. He never used it much as he got sidetracked with his F3J training ... obviously a good choice as he ranked first at the Worlds for 2 days last year and ended up 4th. I'm really looking forward to getting some air time with the Fazo. I'll put some colour patches on the wings with vinyl and repaint the fuse repair.

Pij, I understood your meaning anyway ... and by saying "fingers crossed" I mean we are hoping and praying that you guys and other communities will not get walloped by the cyclone. Pretty scary that the current track seems to have it heading for Bundy. But I've never heard of a cyclone that didn't change track a few times. Good luck anyway.

Thanks Andrew. We've stocked up on essentials to some degree, though supplies were low on some eg batteries. We're bringing all our tarps, ropes, water bottles, gas cooking gear etc indoors. Lucky for us and our next door neighbours that we cut down 2 big trees 2 weeks ago.
Of course, the cyclone may not hit. But better to be prepared.
