Wings out of mold ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Few issues - was trying for a lower weight. 640 and 680 gm They are a goer - made this pair on my own - You don't want to know how much time went into them!!!!! or do you - has taken about 3 weeks of bursts in the shed. cheers jeff

Hey Jeff, If you're not happy with them you could give them to me ;D on the other hand, you might want to use them. I am guessing that they are lighter than your first set. You should still be able to come in around 21-2200g. Thats more than acceptable. Any ideas why 40g difference? ..only 3 weeks, thats about 16 pair a year.. you can do it Love the way my repaired eBD flies... oh so sweet. Just the thing when the wind isn't blowin' . Up to the centre panel on the Allegro lite, a relaxing build (cf what you might ask?). Cheers, Hutton

Very nice indeed! They might be heavier than you wanted but at least they're lighter than the last ones - you're moving in the right direction!
How would you compare the work involved in building these moulded wings vs a set of bagged wings of a similar spec?
Sean.

How would you compare the work involved in building these moulded wings vs a set of bagged wings of a similar spec? Sean. Not having built a set of bagged wings to this standard i probably can't fully compare - but the build times are probably similar - maybe less with the bagged wings at my skill level. However victorf on rcgroups is doing 2 bagged models at once and failry ripping through the build. OTH ... Mick and Ross were able to complete a E2k starting Friday afternoon and finishing lunch time on a Sunday. This then left the hinging of the ailerons and fitout to go. My first set of E2k wings were built in a weekend with Mick and Shane helping out. With experience i would go for the molded model as the quickest build. cheers jeff
