all finished, ready to fly.... total weight 675grams
i retaped the elevons on as they had way too much slop in them... still not perfect, but much better.
will update when i can go out flying.. expected 10kt winds tomorrow. so we'll see what happens.

yeah with the wingfoil i expect it to be quick... no test fly today, no wind, and i went fishing instead.

well dispite the lack of wind i went for a quick trip down to wreck point this afternoon.. wind was recorded at 7kts ENE which is perfect for this slope..
unfortunately it's not strong enough for this plane. it's going to need a minimum 15kts i think to get it going. it did show promise in the test and tune flights, but thats really as far as i got..

It is a spanish mackerel isn't it? You should take a fibergless cast of that, add wings and I think you would have a pretty mean looking sail plane!

spanish mackeral is one of my favorite eating fish... they are more fishy tasting than creamy......
well after putting things off the plane is in the process of being repaired.. wings secured back on and elevons to be attached tonight. should be charged up and ready to fly by tomorrow and we have 15+ knot winds expected for teh end of the week. so expect another report soon.
