well i have ordered my speed controller and motor and prop and was wondering why I need to use a lipo battery. I am going to put this gear onto a wing can I get away with using a pack of eneeloop batteries. If I do use lipo batteries do I need a special charger. Is it best to use a charger like Turnigy Accucel-6 50W 5A Balancer/Charger Can I also use this charger for my other eneeloop batteries. These are probably really dumb simple questions but I am very green when it comes to electrics in radio control stuff, so any help would be great

Maybe start with ele bee threads cheers jeff

DEFINITELY need a specific LiPo charger or at least a LiPo charging mode for LiPos, or you are playing with fire in a big big way.
Ability to use the charger you've specified for multiple types of batteries will depend on the charger itself.

Well I got the parts from Hobby City as the seem to be the cheapest around. the engine is a KD A22-10S Brushless Outrunner Motor
Shaft Size: Diam-3.0mm/ Length-12mm Motor Dimensions: Diam-28mm/Length~29mm Weight: 49g Specifications A22-10S RPM / V (Kv) 1200 Battery 3 Lipo Operating Current (Amps) 4-13 Peak Amps (15sec) 16 Prop 9~5
The speed controller is a Hobbyking SS Series 25-30A ESC
so what size lipo battery should I use for this combination
