Glenn, do you keep the wing under pressure in the beds during that week? Or just leave it wrapped up sitting on the bench?
My wing has been 5 days now, was pulled out at 24 hours and hasn't been "hot boxed" (apart from my shed being fairly warm!) ... and so far so good - no sign of the pattern coming through! Maybe the Araldite 3600 is performing better than others? I dunno, it's my first!

Probably not really an easy option for you northeners, but wrap the wing/shucks in an electric blanket on a nice flat surface.
I made a hot box from an old fridge on it's side with some foil on the inside to reflect the heat and just ran a little fan all the time with a heater inside - didn't have the best temp resolution but cured things quickly at 35-42deg! The fridge is good because they're readily available (and you can rescue the compressor as well), are already insulated and have an airtight door.
Apologies if you've listed earlier but where did you get the innegra and what cost are we looking at? I reckon it sounds the goods for tough requirements (e.g sleds) instead of that horribly expensive 1/32 or 1/16 ply!
Cheers
Steve

Steve, the Innegra is only available in 2 weights, 68gm and something heavier. Cost is $16/m for 1metre wide at CG composites. It's a very loose weave. Very light, but I guess it holds a fair bit of epoxy. Not too much is known about it but people are starting to find its niche. Seems that you need a hard layer either side of it. There's a thread on RCG that I started about it and a few people have added some good info: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1176871I'm really happy with the hingeing! Very easy to do. Jeff advised me to score the line using a reinforced dremel disc (just held in the hand, not in the dremel), and it did the job excellently.

I will have to try the Araldite epoxy when I run out of the West epoxy. The fridge sounds like a great idea. laid on its side, you could use the side (now top) to do the layup then put it straight into the hot box, the compressor doesn't even need to be removed from the fridge. If you could seal the door enough you could fill it full of nitrogen and you would have an autoclave.

Don't know if the compressor would run on it's side, but using the top as a bench is a good idea. I found a large piece of polycarbonate on hard rubbish day and used that as the base on some legs to allow heat to circulate all around the wing.
