After watching and waiting for the wind to change which it didn't I thought I would redo my queen bee. Now I was thinking of covering it with Goop and have tried to find out a bit on the forums but still need advice. What is best to use, shoe go or spakle from bunnings (what is the best spakle) Should I do a few layers of goop then cover with fibre tape then colour tape. Is there a cetain amount of goop to use I have read to put on about 4 layers do you thin down the shoe gloo/spakle to make it spread easier and how long will it take to dry

I don't know if there is an old gooping thread on the forum or not, but here's a link to the spakle job I did on an OzPrey: www.windsock.net.au/ozprey/blog/24_09_07.htmlTo be honest I would just go with the fibre tabe, my concern would be if you gooped it or used spakle it would be lead weight, it's a big plane.
