Hi Guys,
Shane told me that people are concerned by the wire between the tails.
It's a fair question.
I assure you without reservation that the wire has no noticeable effect on performance, either at low or high speed, or during launch. Its purpose is to stop the tail from breaking its repair when the boom slaps the ground on a hard landing. I have seen the plane landed hard and can attest that the wire does its job, as it should (it's a good engineering solution). Shane has done a lot of flying with this system in place and it works beautifully.
Ken.
