so i have the newest member of the family on display - the "lil stinker"
it goes bloody fast for the size, id say around 60kph - with a 24in epp wing, thats pretty fast i reckon
anyway everyone was bagging out these on rcgoups saying they fly like peices of... but to tell the truth, mine flys like a dream!
i am yet to cover it - it will be very soon, and there will be a distinct colour difference from the top and bottom, as this is the fastest thing you will ever see roll, around 3-4 rolls PER SECOND!!!
i crashed it yesterday...
what happened was i was doing crazy fast rolls in a straight line, horizontal, and when i stopped, i ended up upside down, which i then pulled full up, and the radius of the loop was so perfect that it hit straight on the nose full pelt
i went down to check it out and there it was, sitting there, all good... STOKED
so i inspected it to find a STRIPPED GEAR from a brand new hxt900 servo -- after 2 years, i have never crashed a plane hard enough to strip the gears on that kind of servo, but it turns out its definately possible!
an another note, i was flying my Multiplex Blizzard thismorning, and was comming into land, when i had miss judged how far out i was, and i hit the top of the tallest tree in my neighbors property, around 30m, and i saw it drop, so i took a garbage bag over to pick up the peices, and turns out, ITS STILL ALIVE!!!
i seriously couldint beleive that it was 100% ok, apart from a new dint with the other dints in the wing of it
all in all, i have been having some good luck, FOR ONCE!
