Hey, have you guys heard about this week of sloping happening at Manilla near Tamworth. Check this out = www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=994694This place looks amazing and a hell of a lot closer than Camperdown. Not trying to compare with Camperdown since I have not been, yet !! but, a week long slope fest closer to home has got to be a good thing. Must go and get building more stuff to take. Shane S

I'm tempted, but will have to see how things are closer tot he date. If there turns out to be a DSable ridge in the area then I'm far more likely to head down .

Hey Matt, I've already booked a cabin for me and a couple of mates , so we are busy building.
Tried to get a fly today but no wind, so checked out some promising new sites but both had locked gates. Shame because they looked really good on google earth. Usually try to get to Beachmont Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, but let me know when your around and we will go for a fly .
Cheers Shane

Awe this is gonna be huge!.. And I think it's gonna become a big thing every year. Slopers need an outlet I tell ya!!! ;D I reckon this is one of those things the magazines should definitely attend... I'm even thinking of building something Ive always dreamed of but never been game to (incase it doesn't fly ;D) just for this event. Even if it goes down the hill spiralling it will be worth it haha!
