All the mouldies fly great Portfox. There isn't a dud in the bunch. You really can't go wrong unless you buy something that's been repaired so many times that it's basically DOA. Don't ask me how I know! It's hard enough to tell the planes apart on the ground. Once they are in the air there is very little between them. I spent hours poring over flight reports before buying my Xpro, and my conclusion is that I wasted my time.
For me the great news about mouldies is that they are very very repairable, and they fly just as great after as before. Case in point is my Xpro which I flew into my leg a couple of weeks back. This launching day was its first flight after repair and it's every bit as good as new.
FWIW if you really are thinking of getting a mouldie, secondhand is a great way to go. Most of the models in the photo were bought that way.
Disclaimer: I bought my Xpro new and I couldn't be happier with it.

Yes I'm very glad I took Ken & Andrews advice & bought 2nd hand, its so good not to have to build!!! Sure saved money too.

Ken One day, i'm keeping my eyes open, but lately i've been spending on scale planes. I just cant help myself. It too addictive!
