It will be interesting to see the performance Garth. Could you tell how much and where you brought it from?
Nigel.

I got the Binary 900 from www.peak-hobby.com/main/home/main.php. (in China) It was $219.00 at my door with ems. Hope to fly it in the morning. Harry from peak hobby is really good to deal with and they have lots in stock.

Went to the coast for the night and made a short trip up to Beechmont (Roslyns lookout) for a quick fly this morning prior to the invasion of the hang gliders. We went down to main beach for a swim, but atm the sand it really steep and would be a really great slope for this little plane. I was going to give it ago but wind was blowing around 20-25 knots. I hope to give it ago next weekend. Wow this little plane flies amazingly for how small it is - just had to add 2 clicks of up trim with this set up as no lead had to be added in the nose and maybe its still a little nose heavy but not much. Im so happy with it im going to get another one as a spare. Im going to see if i can get a full carbon wing made. The wind was 10-15 knots south east straight up the slope. I Hope to get out this week to give it a few duscus launch's Here is a small video of its second flight which was cut short by the millions of handgliders who turned up within 5 minutes s1018.photobucket.com/albums/af303/glider22/?action=view¤t=binary900001-1.flv

so have you found you can HL this higher than your bigger DLG's, cause im interested, but i caint see this thermalling well, because of the small wingspan... i really want to get a beginner DLG, as i already have the fake alula, and like how you get a bit of excersise aswell, but if i bought one, i would want one that would thermal awesome... i reckon DLG is hella fun, but its expensive in my oppinion for what you get... and i know that the peak hobby DLG's are alot cheaper than the mainstream...

I had a fly of Garth's yesterday arvo, at sunset in swirley wind at Whites Hill and have to say it is a blast...launches soooo high and is nimble to every little puff of wind. Only downside for me personally is the extreme tingling in my launching hand on letting fly. Just me I suppose!

I saw Garth today at Beechmont and he flew this DLG in a good 15kts. Diving and looping in big lift. Very impressive little plane... I think it's a must for the hangar. His Tragi was cutting some great speed out front too. We stayed till dark and DSed all arvo great fun. Windburner sits on 110mph all day Dsing.
