Hi guys, I have crashed my Reaper DS a few times in the last weeks and a good crash yesterday ( learning to DS) The wing has been slowly twisting, I noticed having to input more and more aileron trim. The spars still seem attached to the foam. The wing is still strong Could I have bent the joiners? Any ideas? Nigel.

Wow, that's a tricky one. My best guess would be the glue joint between the golf shafts and the aluminium joiner has let go, and the golf shafts have rotated around the joiner.

It does seem that way Sean, the hard thing is to rotate the wing back without squashing the epp (there are 2 spas). I might try to clamp the whole front of one wing and the whole back of the other wing and then twist. Then I will have to try and glue them together again which will be the hard part.

Ahhh... I didn't realise you had a twin spar Reaper.... You'd think the joiners would have to be bent for that to happen. Sounds like a big job to fix!

Well I clamped one side of the wing by sandwiching it with ply and I was able to twist it back. I think one, or both of the wing joiners had come loose on one side and a few impacts had done the rest. At least I don't have to rip the covering off next time to fix it.
