Hi Mike in the last mounth i got a JR DSX9 which was at the right price $660.00. This radio will do me for a few years and i will not out grow it. The 9ch rx that you get with it is $250+. 30 model memory.....
I really like mine. Nick has one as well
Or Cockpit sx......... for about $370 but you may out grow it in the future.
Buy the best radio with the most features that you can afford...
alll the in the search

Hi Mike,
I've done a fair bit of research into transmitters for gliders in particular so perhaps I may be of some use to you.
what sort of planes are you EVER going to want to fly with your new transmitter?
What brand of receiver is a DSSS V2? Is that XPS?
Go Great!
Ken.

Some good news...I pulled the Eclipse 7 completely to bits yesterday and checked all components etc. Must have resoldered about 20 joints and eventually found the problem. When I was pushing the TX 2.4G module in one of the pins was getting pushed away from the circuit board. When pulling the module out it drew the pin back out again...hard to find the problem!!!....anyway, resolderd and all fixed
