Well my Dad has just come out of Hospital after having a triple heart bypass and he now has to rest for the next 3 months and shows an interest in building a balsa glider. We built one about 15yrs ago together and I am now looking at getting another kit for him. can anyone tell me where to get one Have tried the local hobby shops at lawton but they have nothing. So any help in finding a kit would be great. Something over 2m wingspan would be great

John, I don't know if there are many around now, but it's worth trying Hobbyrama. The sad thing is that you could spend many hours making one and buy a better one, fully covered etc, on Ebay for under $100!! Also have a look at the various for sale threads such as RCGroups, RC Trading Page, etc- I've seen a few kits coming up there recently.

Me I find balsa doesn't bounce too well This rcg thread shares the love for balsa...plenty of leads on what is available... www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=861944cheers jeff
