Sean and I had a perfect afternoon of sloping and light-air DSing on Saturday. Sean forgot the module to fly his Erwin so although he put together some laps with his amazing foamie Brutale we spent most of the arvo taking turns flying 3 of my moldies. I always learn a lot when Sean gets to fly my planes so I'm happy to watch and listen. I took some bits of video with a basic digital camera and had my maiden attempt at video editing to put it all together. I'm not terribly proud of it - seems very lame to me! But here it is anway ... hope you like it and that it gives a bit of a feel for the fun, the planes, the flying and the great location. Here goes ... vimeo.com/7498747

Thanks for posting Andrew. Still can't believe your generosity letting me fly all those planes, especially after what I did to your Wizard! The biggest surprise for me was the Vector - it gives up very little in terms of speed while DSing. We had it up into the high 90s consistently which is about the same as the Fazo and Ditza. Inverted DSing with it would be just as fast! I'm very tempted after Saturday. The Ditza also surprised. Hard to believe it got the highest speed of the day - normally bigger is faster. It has a really stable 'locked-in' feel while DSing - much more so than my Carbon Bird. The Fazo was the most satisfying to DS though! Spent a while doing mock F3F and then tight DS circles. Can't wait for my Tracer to arrive. Unfortunately I left a crucial part of my Erwin at home so coudn't compare it. DSed at Bald Knob on Sunday too. The wind was a fair bit stronger and we were all getting some good speed. Shane had his Reaper really moving and Jarred got in lots of laps with his Fat Albert (his second time DSing and he was keeping up with Shane and I). My Erwin was making lots of noise . Great to get two days of DSing in, I feel like I've got my fill which doesn't happen very often! Sean.
