Hey guy's great speed for the Jdub. I also got a personal best today. 2 actually
at Mcloeds shoot or pinetrees and powerlines should be a good name for that spot. Cause that's what you've gotta Ds in between. When I got there it was gusting from 25 to 30 knots. Nigel was already there with his reaper. So I pulled
my reaper out too. Nige said he had already cut some laps on the dark side.
So no time to waist straight into the groove. My groove is not the smoothest at times but still a groove. I've had the moth out a lot lately and haven't been able to crack 100mph. only 99.6. So I had a motive today and that was to crack that 100. The reaper looks a lot slower than the moth but it's 20inches
bigger. Soon after Eric arrived with his Dad and a newly Built Jdub. Also Nige pulls out a nicely built Jdub too. They're everwhere I might have too get 1 too.
Naaaaa. Already got 4 foam planks. Anyway getting side tracked, back to Dsing
while I was cutting circles Eric had the gun on the reaper. And I heard a call for
105 mph . yahooo . I know that's not that fast but it took me a while to get that.
While I was cutting circles Nigel had his new maidened Jdub doing some massive cirles around my reaper at the same time. There was a few close passes but no colisions. That thing is really smooth. I put the foamy away to get the ERWIN out, while I was setting it up Ezza had the tripple carbon bird up and heading straight for the back. I like the way he thinks..... Mate those Birds are fast. I think it got 147mph and that was with fairly high rates. Man Ezza's a great pilot. Congrates on the awesome maiden speed Ezza He landed after hitting some wild turbulance. Now it's the Erwins Turn.
Launched , done some last min trimming and back to the groove. wow the knees were a bit wobbly. It was just starting to winde up and hit 143 I think it was. Then flutter so we landed. Eric said to tape the flaps. so we did and turned off snapflap, never done that before. threw out again and started cutting some nice big circles, man she was picking up some speed then I heard someone yell 155mph. Done a few more and then a rotor sucked it straight down so I pulled up it went straight up then back over my head very high inverted I paused for a second and pushed down which pushed it around right way up. I felt a little tingling all over that was fun. landed on the front side. Nige done some loops while I landed and got 87mph
