Nice pics Andrew . We tried DSing clockwise and anti-clockwise, the latter was the better direction in theory because the wind was coming across the slope from the west, but we got our best speeds going clockwise. There was some air movement on the back which no doubt complicated things. We also tried all parts of the hill to see if there were any better spots but conditions changed constantly, the best spot was generally the middle of the saddle. For a bit I was able to DS the Reaper way back from the lip in steep circles diving really low into the backside and the shear was very pronounced even that long way back making for some decent speeds, but then conditions changed in an instant and that didn't work anymore. The best speeds of the day came from DSing super low over the lip of the hill, which meant crashing was fairly inevitable, and because I'm quite willing to crash the Bat that might be the reason it gets the best speeds. Still, the Reaper just doesn't look like it's reaching its full potential.

Hey Andrew,
Great shots! Looks nice and green. That shot of the reaper looks like it is lapping nice and high

Yeah, I kept the Reaper up fairly high, basically if you flew near the ground crashing was only a matter of time thanks to the turbulent conditions. Looking forward to DSing in smooth easterlies .
