1.
Be careful what you write on the forum, and how you say it. Email and forum written communication often doesn't come across to the reader with the feeling you intend, and it's very easy to unintentionally offend the reader with your remarks.
2.
If you make openly critical, personal, derogatory remarks about other users or people on this forum those remarks may be deleted without notice. This forum is about our shared enjoyment of RC soaring. There is absolutely no place for personal criticisms here. Everyone's welcome, irrespective of their level of skill or knowledge. If you make a comment that runs another member down, you're doing the wrong thing ... even if you're right about the issue that's being discussed in the thread.
3.
If you have a problem with something someone has said, please take it up with them via messages or personal contact, and between you, delete the bad text or post. Do not argue back personally against someone on the forum. If you fail to sort it out with them, contact one of the Admins and we'll take it out and if necessary, warn the offender.
If someone gives you grief, just back away. We can easily delete offensive users from the forum but it's not usually a good way to resolve things - and often they will just find a way back on again. If they want to cause trouble, they will. Unfortunately these guys are out there and we'll occasionally have problems.
The thing they like most is to get you wound up ... and often they'll go away if you don't. So please, at all costs, avoid conflict on the forum. If you don't like something that's been said about you, it may be better to let it ride rather than stir up a hornets nest.
