Sean, nice but I reckon no more impressive that you do with the Erwin/ Bird etc. Just need the site and the wind. It looked pretty ideal in that vid. Yes the top turns are so quick you can't see the flick! See the nice windsock on the hill and the steepness of both sides. We need better hills.

I dunno Andrew - those turns are crazy!
Steve, we had a good day yesterday. Very little wind so we were mostly thermalling on the south slope. You could set your watch by the thermals, it was really fun spiralling up then putting the nose down to hunt for new ones when they petered out. Bit of DS with the Pike got the heart-rate up a bit. Then the wind switched east and the thermals stopped so just light air sloping on the eastern face.
Once again the Pike amazed me with it's light-air performance. Not only does it stay in the air but you can actually go fast too, covering lots of ground looking for bumps of lift. I know a number of the other club guys are starting to think about getting something similar...

Hard to say how fast he was really going, but the combo of carbon wings and a big carbon joiner looks plenty stiff! Ken.

always love seeing those DS vids.....awesome stuff! hoping to really get into DS big time with some suitable models come summer time. have the modded bee well and truly underway and a should have a eagle ready to go as well -between the two i think i'll have a good learning platform (and i definately need it! ;D) before i bust the bank and get a big carbon.
