this video appeared on RC Groups today, of DSing at Weldon yesterday. It really gives you a great feel for the speed and the sound. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=933663Double click on the picture to get to the Youtube page and select high quality. In the latter part of the video there's a comment that the smaller plane which smashes has the aileron rates "too hot". Something I should have learnt much earlier. As chief DS coach Ezza pointed out last time he saw me fly, you don't need much aileron. When the plane's moving at high speeds it becomes more responsive to aileron, so you need much less aileron throw. But it becomes less sensitive to elevator, so dual rates for DS are often 20% more elevator with no expo, and maybe 60% less aileron with expo.

Very nice, it makes me want to have a go at DS'n. Althought, yes the aileron being 'hot' makes things interesting and makes sense for flight modes.
a keeper.
