Yes, I've read the blurb telling us they are something different from a similar product, but then there's comments like this one (from the link you gave):
"Similar to the TowerPro SG90 (Same one). Great little servo, hight torque. Great for foamies and small planes. I bought 12 of these. Really really great price. Buy it, you wont regret."
I have both the SG90's and the HXT900 on hand. Certainly good power and good price, if they survive.

THEVON...i checked your link and they look like the ones in my 'broken servo' bag. Good luck with yours. I just hated having to cut broken servos out of a tidy model!

The sheets of 3mm and 6mm depron turned up today. It feels more rigid and strong than I expected. Extremely light too.
I'm going to try ironing some light laminating film onto it. Might give it lots more durability.

Where did you get your Depron from, Andrew? Mine came in from WA. But more recently I've noticed that Kmart (or was it BigW?) has some (probably not Depron brand, but the same stuff) of 6mm thickness in the stationery section. They also had some with a thin black plastic coating on each side, which I used for the canopy of my Garden Cub. The plastic coated stuff probably has a bit more toughness.

Yeah, that's the WA address mine came from.
I'll see if I have enough remaining of the sheet to tell what size it was...
640 x 500 x 5mm
"Black foam board acid free" so I assume it's for photo mounting, framing etc. I can get the product number if it helps. My wife is sure it came from Kmart.

The Swinger is now ready to fly. All my wives and children have left in disgust. "We don't have any sort of relationship - you're just obsessed with gliders! There's nothing left of our marriage. You spend your whole life in the shed while I'm cooking, mopping, looking after kids. If you love me you'll come in and talk about this" ... she cried. After a thoughtful pause I replied "What was that?? Anyway yeah, yeah, I'll talk about it later when I've finished the control linkages. And by the way, where's dinner?"
Sad, but you have to keep your priorities in order. (Just kidding, she's reading this ... )
I took it down the local park for a toss and it flew. Looking forward to putting it out in some slope lift. Now all we need is wind ... !
I'm not going to get into build logs and photos etc or the wife WILL leave. Maybe later, if it turns out to be really successful.

Pete Loftus told me that there's a mob at Sunshine Coast that have Depron in stock all the time too. Something-or-other Plastics.

Knoxie I wouldn't go spending money gearing up to make one until I've tested it out! It might be a dog! Here's the final product: I have uploaded some build pics and info onto the RC Groups thread - if you're interested, check it out there: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=885150&page=27#post11250814It's easier to upload pics to RC Groups than to post them here.
