Wow, Chris, that is lovely! And a great price - 2nd hand, I assume? Where did it come from? Are those wings foam core with veneer? Balsa? Well, you have been saying you wanted a glider to go to durations comps with - looks like you are all set up now.
Love that vid, too, thanks Chris. I wish that short bit of the night flying went longer - I've never seen that before.
I browsed your Photobucket collection - you have some very nice shots there. I "borrowed" the one looking up into the Moreton Bay Fig, hope you don't mind - to add to my desktop pics collection. Is that a little sister in the photos? Have you taught her to fly gliders yet? Get a buddy-cord setup one day - she might not think she'll enjoy it, but I think there's a fair chance she'll love it.

where abouts can i get one of those buddy leads I saw a JR Tx in your pics, so if you have 2 programmable JR radios, you can plug them together with a trainer cord. Just make sure you have the plane programmed the same into both transmitters. I got my buddy cord from the JR supplier when I bought the Tx's, but it seems to be just a double-male mono earphone extension. Same plugs I use for my charging plugs to go into the charging jack/switch in my slope gliders. So it should be easy to make one up. They must be wired the same at both ends. When you have 2 transmitters plugged together, the Master Tx is turned on, and the aerial is up. The Slave Tx is turned off, and the aerial is down. It turns on itself when you plug it in.
