Janet and I spent a few nights away - didn't take any planes, but when we visited Cabarita I snapped a few pics to show the slope. I flew there a few months ago in a NE and really loved it. This is a shot of the slope looking North And this is a closer view looking down the slope. In a NE this place really pumps huge lift. Now turning around and looking South from the same spot - this is what I really loved about this site - the flat landing strip! You can come down onto this smooth strip - it's a head/side wind approach about 45deg into the wind - and skim along like a sled. I had a lot of fun with the Nemesis dropping onto the grass with flaps, then skimming into the soft verge below. Now this is looking further south at the Cabarita headland. It looked exciting for DS but my advice is don't. The wind swirls around it in a nasty way. But it's still good for flying frontside.

Only just saw this post. It's a great location. I had the opportunity to fly down there with my Komet off the Cabarita headland, didn't try the other slope. Don't think I would have done it without the aid of the motor.

Flown off that cliff quite a few times with the bee n fling…..truly an awesome slope once you get over the fear of flying over a 100ft drop off into the ocean lol. Got some pics of the day I was there with nige somewhere I’ll have to dig up.
