Just had a call from Alan (Livefibre) and things aren't good. He's been getting breathless and a while ago they thought it was thyroid related. Now still getting worse, and he's been sent to a chest clinic and they found he has really major lung damage - only 29% lung capacity - and they're even talking about a lung transplant. Not good. Our thoughts and prayers need to be with him and Wendy and the boys. Andrew

Oh no... that's horrible. He's not having great luck of late. I wondered why we hadn't seen him for a while. My thoughts are with them all... I hope they do some good work on you Al. I'm astonished that they didn't notice this at some point while he was worked on for other things.

this is very sad news....allan is a top bloke with a great family.only talked to al a fews days ago and he mentioned he was having some problems. my sincere wishes for a successful recovery.
