Just got an SMS from Gerard ... "baby Claire Maria born 5:06pm, 7 lb 4 oz. Everyone is doing well"
Hearty congratulations from all the Windsock mob, to Gerard and Nicole.
For those newer folk, it was Gerard who dreamed up the Windsock website and then this forum, and who has been doing all the behind-the-scenes work to keep it all fresh and working. I can't thank him enough because Windsock has done a lot to draw the SEQ slopers together and provide good easily accessible info.
This is their first child, and Gerards flying has tapered off dramatically since the news of the pregnancy, with getting everything ready. I reckon he's been shaking in his boots about it for some months now! There'll be huge relief all around now, I think. Hopefully we can get Gerard back out flying lots!

Thanks all, been a busy few days. Everything has gone really well. Claire has a full head of hair. I will post some photos on the weekend.
Won't be too long before she is flying (and crashing) my planes, can't wait.
Cheers,
Gerard
