Well, so it is, Wednesday or Thursday will be my last day in Brisbane as i move up to Yeppo.on later this week to live.
I have to put a huge THANK YOU out to Gerard and Andrew in particular for getting me started in slope soaring, teaching me the basics and being there when ever i needed help.
There are too may other people to list, but i also have a big thank you to you for showing me the ropes and getting me into combat.
I've had a blast flying down in brisbane and the surrounding slopes, meeting new people and the hours spent flying together.
I wish you all a good new year and will keep in touch on this forum from time to time.
Jase

Jase this is the first I've heard about this. I hope you'll have fun up there. We'll miss you around. There are some keen modellers there as well that I know. Let me know if you want me to point you at them.

Sad to see you go Jase. Make sure you keep in touch with the forum as it doesn't matter on your location, I'm sure you will still have interesting stories and photos to share.
Maybe we might get a bit of a following on the forum from your way.
Good luck with everything that you do and we look forward to seeing you again some time.

Good luck Jase, yep thingy is a lovely place, and I'm sure you'll take plenty of enjoyment carving virgin slopes. Let's see if the censor bleeps that one out...

Jase dropped in yesterday arvo, car all packed and on his way. Won't be back online till he's moved in up there and set up the computer etc, and reckons the planes will be low on the priority list for a while.

Ding - possibly my use of the word "Virgin" and "carving" in the same sentence.

well i arrived safe. took just a little over 7 hours with the boat. but it felt like a long trip.
planes aren't a priority at the moment. i'm getting stuck into my fishing, surfing and golf in the short term.. not to mention i have to unpack all my belongings.
flying sites up here aren't as common as the area around bris, so this will set me back a bit.. but i'll be on the lookout for potential sites.
