Well i have been watching a few wings fly arond SE Qld and decided to get one and well the father inlaw happened to buy me a Qeen bee for my birthday so I am now building it and hopefully should have it done in 2 weeks when i get another free weekend. I have never flown a wing but many many years ago had a glider. How often do you guys fly over Redcliffe way as I live at Bald Hills and if i am free may drop over and watch the action and learn how to fly once again.

G'day mate, welcome. Best thing is to head over to the clifftop at Shorncliffe, southern end near the creek, when the wind is anything from SE to NE. On a Sunday arvo you'll usually find at least a few guys, have a look and a chat and go from there. Another option is to head up to Maleny (Bald Knob) on a Sunday arvo and meet up with the club guys there. Good place to learn to fly again.
Make sure you have a good look at build threads on this forum and on RC Groups. There are some good things you can do to make the plane a lot better than if you follow the Windrider instructions which are very basic .Also there's a guy Mike on this forum, also Matt, who both have Queen Bees and they may be able to give advice.
