Well i went across to SC this afternoon and decided to try my newly built queen bee. This is the first time i have really flown a slopey. 1st flight went OK for about 30 secs then second flight ended up in the water. Quick dry off and then the guys up there offered to do a test flight for me and it flew really well with Steve behind the controlls and he then gave me a quick lesson and the most impressive bit of flying is when it went into a flat spin and he saved it within meters of the footpath. Boy can he fly. it was great to see it fly and well thanks Steve for the lesson this afternoon

Great to see you guys had wind up there. We had a nice little NE down here at St Helena. There was a Moth, M60, Ozprey, Zagi, and Scorpion or JW(Erics planes) up at the same time. Great arvo Nigel

No worries. Nice to meet you John and we'll have you going in no time. I just hope we don't have to wait too long until the weather is as good as it was this afternoon.

Thanks Steve (Aero-Stig) for handling the test flying again! I didn't realize Wag was going to have problems till we heard the splash. Glad it got going again ... often not the case after a salt water dunking.
Yes that was a really great fly at Shorncliffe this arvo. Unusual to get a nice stiff NE breeze at this time of year! A good short dose of in your face sloping to raise the spirits. Ozprey flew great, nice bunch of blokes to fly with, spectators impressed ... what more could one ask for.

I wouldn't say trouble, i would say to few flying minutes . Always thought I would hit the water but not on second flight more like 1st flight so I was amazed it stayed up that long.
learn't a lesson today and that was always pays to seek help and ask for advice. Thanks guys
cheers
