I've been playing around with developing mobile content with Flash & html at work. I had a thought of creating a page which can be accessed by mobile phones, so I created a site which has the wind speed/direction and radar. The images aren't totally clean (especially the radar) but it gives you a fairly good idea. To access the site on your mobile phone: 1) Go to you Web menu under your main menu on your phone. 2) Most phones should then let you enter a address from your menu options. 3) Type in: www.windsock.net.au/mobileRates will depend on your carrier, but it shouldn't cost much. With Telstra for example they charge $2 for 1MB. The site that I developed is only 55kb, so it should be fairly cheap. However I recommend checking with your carrier as they are all different. Hopefully people will find it useful for when they are out and about. I'll improve it over time but it's a start at the moment. Below are some screen shots. Let me know how it goes on your phone and if you have any other ideas that I could add?

I've added a link at the bottom of the first page for other weather stations including Maroochydore, Inner Beacon & Coolangatta.
The Maroochydore station might be useful for people flying at Maleny/Brandenburg Rd.
