I just sent out a few emails to tamrac club and was chasing some slope locations up that way. I have to go out there next weekend and also the following one for the aerotow event. Anyone know some good slopes up there?

Steve, check the (old) post "Some pics and stuff from my 2008 SE Qld slope tour" by atmosteve. It shows some sites, and there is supposed to be another one on Murphy Creek Road (I think). It may be worth asking around TAA, the other Toowoomba club, they are a fantastic bunch there.. very much worth the yearly membership! Hope this helps, or gets you in the right direction.

There's a few spots i've noticed not mentioned(or i've simply missed them).
Up at the Crow's Nest Water Tank(Grapetree road) Silver Pinch Road , Blanchview
The Murphy's Creek road is built out.
Hope this helps.

Well, got up to Toowoomba, but didnt fly anything, I didnt even get a chance to call Jes, sorry mate if you have tuned in. I left my laptop and your mobile number on it at home. I got out for an hour to have a look around at prince henry drive. Two site would be good for EPP, a northerly section just before you go through the one way street loop rd and another about half way round the loop rd that would take SE/E. It was about 3 in the arvo went i looked and the se spot had small thermal pumping up the hill, I only has the stepp in the car and i think it would have been good to have a go, but the steep decent and time of day stopped my from throwing it, didnt want to be rescuing a plan in the dark down a hill somewhere. Both spots are very steep, i reckon the lift would be awesome with a epp wing or similar. Up there again for the aerotow this weekend, so if time allows, i'll swing back and throw my dodgy old wing.
