I just got a Corona RP431 It's the 4ch Synth one, very easy setup and locks onto my JR Max66 Tx with ease. will try a range check with the wife tonight to see what she gets (I wonder what my chances of getting HER to walk up the road from the house) Cost me $30 from ParagonRC
Oh, and it weighs about 6 grams too

I am still waiting for mine to arrive, but seeing as though my other purchases have begun to turn up, i am hoping they arrive sometime next week. Next issue is getting more RX crystals..
In the meanime I have been given a JR R500 which range tested up quiet well (on a wet field in between rain showers). It ended up only being a couple of paces shorter than my R610, so there are "holdens, fords and europeans/ asians" amongst the same brand of recievers.
I think I will have to agree with ST, and use which ever one(s) don't glitch at the site. I am hoping that the coronas will give me similar performance (better would be nice) for less $$.
By the way, the bee survived its extended stay in the tree unharmed, and after a couple of days drying out, even the receiver still works. Very happy with the bee, thanks to Gerard and Jase for recommending it to me.
