Well, it's here at last! It's big, beautiful, and bad!! At 1696g for all the parts, at 3300mm wingspan (full carbon at that) I'm guessing finished weight will be around 2.1 - 2.2 Kg. Mind you the gear to fit it out hasn't arrived yet so that's just a guess. Just putting the wing joiners in is a sensual experience (blush) . The whole plane looks like it's been poured out of a bottle. It has red/green stripes underneath the wings. I think it's just gorgeous. I've waited a very long time for this, and so far it's everything I hoped for. So here she is: idisk.mac.com/kenstephens-Public/Xperience 1.jpg[/img] idisk.mac.com/kenstephens-Public/Xperience 2.jpg[/img]

Hey Ken, That was really quick!! Looks sschmick!! I really like the modern looking fuse, with that slightly downturned nose for the spot spiking landing. Same color underneath? Eric

Hi Ezza, she's red and green stripes underneath the wings and tails. To be honest I wasn't sure about that, but having now seen it I'm hooked . Ken.

Hey Ken, will this be a pure glider or will you convert it to electric?

skyzking,
pure glider. I'll be doing thermal comps as well as frontside and light DS. With a plane this efficient you really don't need a motor at the slope, and I'll be winch launching from the flat.
Ken.
