I have some of the V1 coronas they look ok for parky's haven't had time to fully test them but after extensive reports I haven't had the gumption to persevere. - there were centering and binding issues and some problems with quality control. There are looong detailed threads on rcgroups including the Aussi forum
proceed with caution
cheers Jeff

I have a non-synthesising Corona and it's brilliant - the range and performance is equal to my synth JR 7 channels. But as Jeff says it seems there are some quality control issues, there's a very good chance of buying a dud, unfortunately a few guys on this forum have personal experience with dud Coronas, so much so I don't think I'd risk buying one again.

Yes I've had 2 or 3 that have glitched really badly, I've also had 1 or 2 with no real problems until they took a bit of a hit in a few crashes, where some components have broken loose. The position for the xtal also leads to it being quite exposed to knocks. Having said all that I've just bought another couple to use in a dlg & my little Wasp. Will just have to see how they go, I'm a slow learner, I could have bought about 4-5 Schulzes' by now with what I've spent! P.S. None of mine were synth ones.
