haha now i'm with you.....that decision was nowhere near as bad as the JSF program! could of had a fleet of f22's with the best combat pilots in the world defending our shores if common sense had of dictated our tax money.

Although Ming says he's stopping production of the "Old" Bee (which is sort of sad, such a good flyer) it seems that the production of the Ele-Bee is not changing ... and it's the same as the Old Bee but with a spar and a few bits for mounting a motor. Which, in effect, means that you can still get an "Old" bee if you want it. For a while they were the only Bee available at local shops and were cheaper than the standard Bee! I think most of the Bees built in the last 18months or so are Ele-Bees with the motor mount stuff ditched.
It will be interesting to see how the new Bee flies. It sounds like it will be a better flyer in terms of speed and performance, but the old one may be better for novices.

C.G is 14 to 14.5 inches....that's measuring along the wing edge from the nose tip, marking and drawing a line between the two marks...I have heard on RC that it is 8.5 inch from the tip straight back. After a couple of test throws yesterday (due to lack of wind) found that the 14 - 14.5 inch was actually not enough...reduced my weight by at least 20g...test flight will tell...
