Well I finally finished it today, through this build I realised a few things; 1. Patience does not increase with age. 2. A real respect for guys like Sean who can produce such well finished results. 3. I enjoy flying more than building. This is the first build I've done in years, a very simple one I know, & it brought back memories of past wrongs when building (weight has a way of creaping up on you). Its a very easy kit with good instructions, & Glenn (Zipper) is only a ph call away. Ken you'll be happy to know I have an excuse to get that new radio now, the Flash5 went black screen on me today so I couldn't get her to SC......... Sean I'll be in touch for some covering lessons!!!

He he, no worries Vanders. Looks like one fun machine, I like it a lot!
I had a good look at Andrew's new Ozprey yesterday and with the laminating film the finish is super clean. I'm gonna give that stuff a try next, maybe use sign vinyl to add colour.

Just bear in mind, mine looks very smooth because of working it over with the heat gun to shrink it. Before that it was a bit bumpy. The heat gun thing was a bit scary and I think I melted the skin of the EPP a bit. Also a big risk of warping the wing too, I would think. I really wanted to hook in and get some experience with using the stuff, and I wasn't too concerned if I totally stuffed it up.
So I'm a bit reserved about advising anyone to do it! Certainly if you do, make sure you coat the EPP with spackle and Goop, to heatproof it better (I didn't do all of it, and the bits I gooped seemed not to melt).
