Checkout rctrader.com.au - there's a couple of tastyF3J planes for sale. A mint as-new ex-David Hobby Pike Superior and a built Xplorer at 2/3rd the price of new. BTW I have nothing to do with either plane just a heads-up.

Wow those are both excellent value, particularly the Pike!
Also love the look of that Valenta Storm at $1300!
Freight from Tassie is a bit of a hassle, but should only add $40 or so to the freight cost.
No good to me however. I made a New Years' Resolution not to buy any more planes this year! Impossible, I hear you say. The catch is that I can make them! So it's a big incentive for me to get serious about vac bagging etc!

That sounds like a smart resolution Andrew!
The Storm is a reasonable price but 2.9KG is too heavy for that kind of plane I reckon, even for a sloper.

Got a Superior v-tail...great plane. Had a plane freighted from Melb. earlier in the year...$80 from Airstrike. Launceston isn't far away from there!
