well it finally happened. After 3 months of having a contract then falling thru we have finally gone unconditional on our place at Bald Hills and we have now got a contract on 100acres at Gayndah maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=LOT+2+Gayndah+Hivesville+Rd,+Woodmillar+QLD+4625&sll=-25.65439,151.595063&sspn=0.008375,0.019248&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=LOT+2+Gayndah+Hivesville+Rd,+Woodmillar+Queensland+4625&ll=-25.654158,151.595857&spn=0.008375,0.019248&t=h&z=16 We are now going to build a house that my wife has designed and have no idea what to do on the land. we will have cattle to keep the grass down and may crow some sort of crop but will be basically self reliant in terms of food. Oh did i forget to mention it has a hill that i am sure will be perfect for sloping andeven thermal. So once we have moved in if you are ever passing thru or want a weekend away will be more than happy to have a gliding weekend on the hill

The hill is probably about 150m high and looking out to the NW to SE When we were up looking around it was blowing a SE and was heading straight up one side of the hill. Have thought about Strawberries as I don't think anyone in the area is doing them and they would be harvesting just after the citrus so should be easy to find workers.
