If it's showing the wrong time, you need to go into your profile and reset the time zone correctly - that fixed mine and it's still good.

That's what I was thinking, for the times when size is an issue, I think it will really make a difference. I've still have my other Bee, which I'll fly locally, but when it comes to travelling climbing walking etc, it will make a difference. I'm thinking of getting a bag which it will fit nicely into and have a strap that I can carry it with.

I modded my lost Halfpipe to have pull apart wings too. Unfortunately though I just used one 12mm aluminium tube for the wing joiner, and every hard landing resulted in the tube bending slightly, and because the Halfpipe was so CG sensitive that meant I needed a new tube, at about $10 each. I tried brass but it was no better. From your pics Gerard I think your design looks much stronger with the multiple joiner tubes.

I've got 6 tubes holding in the carbon rods. I'm keen to see how it handles the hard landings. I'm hoping that the tubes don't move around to much over time in the EPP, from the flex. But I think because I'm spreading the load it will be fine.

Sounds like a pretty tough setup. It must have been a tricky job aligning all those joiner tubes so they slide in and out of each other smoothly once they're all glued in place.

Hey Gerard, with the recent influx of newbies and a pretty good volume of posts starting to happen, maybe it's time to start subdividing the forum? Newbies section, technical and gear section, R&D and building section etc. Either that or can some subjects be "stickied" because there've been a lot of "what should i get first?" posts lately, and also a fair few "how do i post pics" posts lately.
