Glenn, how do you choose which ones to take out? I love the look of the Zippers, do you prefer the 48" or 60" version? Sean.

Glenn (Zipper) is up here this weekend - at Ipswich Raceway - I think he manages a pit crew for a Sydney based V8 production car team. He's bringing some stuff with him and Alan (Livefibre) is going over to meet him, pick up some foamie bits and watch the cars for a while.

Got some new additions.
My ugly experiment - the ESC, motor and gearbox from my park fighter, chopped onto the back of an old abused warrior.
Also a Seether (under construction)

To answer your questions Yes Yes 1 son (he flies to)Depends on the slope and wind speed 48" Glenn OK I think the "he flies too" might be the secret For me with a 3yo and 10 month old having enough time is a battle. But then, I am supposed to be in a wind-down section of my flying "career" after being so serious for so long

Slopefun -- Dad and I learnt to fly RC with a Stepp 2 at Long Reef near Sydney in 1990. Looks a lot like the Stepp 3 but a bit more basic. We broke the wings pretty much every time we took it out, no such thing as EPP then! One time I lost control and crashed it into the guy instructing me... the wings crumbled around his upheld arm as he protected his face... It's hard to believe anyone was able to learn to fly without EPP, it was months and lots of hours working with balsa in the shed before we were flying on our own. I was 12 at the time and dad and I look back on this period fondly . Sean i have just put the Stepp 3 up on the work bench and it looks like it might be Stepp Up. I`m look forward to building it and flying if but if it was not for Epp wings i would not give it a go as i am new to flying i`m cutting my teeth on a Fat Boy War Bird. Paul

Do you have a photo or link to the site for the F1-11? Do the wings actually swing back into different positions?

Hey Gerard, The thread is in the slope section of rcgroups. Yep I'm planning to have operational swing wings, but it is all going to be proof of concept. the original plans had fixed wings, so if the swing function does not work out the wings will be fixed. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=671121Cheers Ando
