You're doing an awesome job on the F1-11. It will look fantastic in the sky.

Chris's post has provoked me to revive this thread. I'll re-list my fleet!
Again, it's embarrassing, 1) Southern Sailplanes T-Bird sailplane (slower, floaty, great learner, can't remember the last time I flew it)
2) Southern Sailplanes Ricochet aerobatic slope sailplane. (beautiful to fly, but rarely flown ... old technology now!)
3) Windrider Bee EPP wing (got it for my son Nick but now hardly used)
4) Aeromod Minij composite V-tail 1.5m small slope/ pylon racer (Love it, fly it heaps, favourite plane for Woody Point)
5) Reaper (Only turned on if wind is >20kts. The easiest plank to DS - it is born with an instinct for DS circles. Neurotic in marginal conditions. Gets really happy at >70mph)
6) Windrider Bat, modified for DS, covered in laminating film. (the must-have sniffer plane that can test the lift at a dodgy site, or sus out a DS groove and carve big fast circles, but also nice to fly on the front, and very very tough).
7) Ozprey (the best all round zippy nippy Shorncliffer - use it heaps)
8) Wizard Compact BPV 2.5m molded carbon slope racer, DS capable version. (A real Ferrari, lovely to fly on the front, capable of 200+mph DSing but I haven't got it out of 2nd gear yet.)
9) Fazer F3B molded carbon 3.1m thermal sailplane. (This thing is the duck's nuts for lazy day flying and light air DS. )

I've only been flying for 6 months, when I start something I start something! In order of purchase: Vector Flying wing. Good wing, I put a fuse on it went better now in need of covering. Toro 900 (no motor) Light wind wing now with fuse, dosn't like gusts. Fling. Too fragile for me and my flying skills. PC-9 Epp. Can't get it out until it is 15knots, but then it's fun. Liftworx Micro. Flies in nothing and is really arobatic as well. Liftworx Swift 2. Still tuning this one. Ozprey. The latest and the greatest so far, and I thought lightweight was the key Nigel

Workshop:
Fazer 3.1m Carbon Sailplane JW 54" (reconditioning) Sidewinder II (Great little 60" DLG) Stinger 45 (Carbon Fuz sheeted wings) Slope Monkey (from the same guy who sells the Stinger, made sense to combine postage, was a good excuse at the time)

Airworthy: * Reaper. I really loved this plane when it was new, now it's a mess. Been rebuilt twice. Now suffers from structural problems at very high speeds. It's going to be scrapped for parts very shortly. * Carbon Bird. Versatile 60" moldie. * Skua 48". Fun little foamy, good cross between fast plank and combat wing. Only six months old and like the Reaper it is also in very bad condition - now much slower than it was new. It too will be scrapped for parts very shortly. * Funtana X. Electric 3D balsa park flier. * Erwin DSS. 2M carbon DSer. Absolutely love this one * Pike Plus. 3.2M molded F3J sailplane. Makes a really fun light lift slope plane/DSer. Currently getting more air time than any of the others. Building: * Unnamed aerobat. 1.5M composite aerobat, own design - symmetrical wing, big fishy fuse. Build keeps getting delayed by other projects . Progress is being made!! * Outlaw. Own design. Very Stiff, relatively complex EPP DS plank. Originally intended to up my DS PB but buying a Carbon Bird put an end to any hope of that happening. This one also keeps getting delayed, I'm finding it very hard to get motivated on it since buying the Bird and Erwin. Very close to shelving this one indefinitely - only continuing the build cause I feel I should finish what I start . * Moth. Just ordered this tonight ;D. It's gonna replace the Skua. Wanted something faster than the Skua that can still fly off small coastal slopes. I've always wanted a Moth so really looking forward to this one!

Sean, you're an addict ! Go well with the Moth mate. Of course I'm an addict too. Takes one to know one etc etc. Getting a Le Fish aerobat with Greg Roper. Ken.

Hi Ken, Yeah the Moth should be good. Gonna use laminating film and will try to look after it a bit, so it lasts more than six months! The Le Fish should be very nice! My own design aerobat is along those lines, but it will be sleeker and a little heavier for slightly faster aerobatics. The idea is to create a sort of slope pattern plane. The fuse is basically shaped and the cores are cut ready for bagging - just need to get my head around bagging now .

Some very tasty models in this thread.
One thing i really dig about Windsock is the collective enthusiasm and passion for the hobby.
Now a confession... not game to post on the "Whats in the Hanger" for fear of actually letting more than a close few in on the full extent of my obsessions with model airplanes and the crippling inability to get all of them repaired or finished.
Favourites at the moment.. Europhia2K 3m moldie made in my own shed - wanting to fly it well in the next thermal contest
Pike Plus 3m moldie - looking forward to exploring its thermal and slope potential
Monny electric 1.7m, thin airfoil, 220amps, 1kg...... cloud base in 2 seconds. Nothing like a young mans toy in the hands of old fella like me.
SuperGeee11 Handlaunch.. catching thermals in the park and light air slope.
This summer I promise..... Build the Lumberjack, Alua.....Elebee......2m electric thermal Aegea.......Oh I'm already overwhelmed!!!
cheers jeff
